The X-Files stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson sat down for a public talk at the Paley Center for Media in New York on Saturday to mark the sci-fi drama’s 20th anniversary–and opened the door to the possibility of another feature film for the franchise.

“All the principals are on board,” including X-Files creator Chris Carter, Duchovny said, according to the Associated Press. “Gillian and I want to do it, so it’s really up to Twentieth Century Fox at this point.”

Anderson said if fans want another film they need to speak out. “If it takes fan encouragement to get Fox interested in that then I guess that’s what it would be,” she said.

Anderson played FBI Special Agent Dana Scully, and Duchovny played Special Agent Fox Mulder on the hit TV show, which aired from 1993 until 2002 on Fox. The two actors also appeared in two movies based on the show The X-Files: Fight the Future (1998) and The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008).
