If you grew up in the 90s, you’ve watched at the very least an episode or two of Bill Nye the Science Guy. The show, which aired on PBS from 1993 to 1998, covered everything from dinosaurs and biodiversity to skin, germs, and probability. If you were wondering how something worked, Bill Nye probably did an episode on it.
Now, Bill Nye is back with his own Netflix show called Bill Nye Saves the World. Nye is 61 now but still as energetic and entertaining as ever (he hasn’t slowed down since his short stint on the seventeenth season of Dancing With the Stars either). The trailer shows him conducting experiments in front of a live audience (while wearing his trademark bow tie, of course) and taking on topics like alternative medicine, sex, and global warming.
Victoria’s Secret model Karlie Kloss serves as a special correspondent and special guests include Steve Aoki, Will Wheaton, and Tim Gunn among many others. Netflix is set to release all thirteen episodes for streaming on April 21st.
