Right before the next cinematic adventure hits the big screen, fans of the Star Wars universe will be able to dive headfirst into action thanks to developers at EA and DICE. The two video game companies are teaming up once again this year to deliver a second entry in the popular Battlefront series. Aptly titled Star Wars Battlefront 2, the new edition will come chock-full of major upgrades including a fresh dose of characters, worlds, and combat scenarios.

If you purchased the original game in late 2015, you may have ran into a number of gameplay issues. Critics were justifiably harsh on the title, with many calling Battlefront something that felt entirely rushed. Thankfully, it seems as though EA and DICE have heard our cries, as the upcoming sequel promises to come equipped with a plethora of unique and engrossing features.

Along with a completely new single-player campaign, Battlefront 2 will throw users into all three eras of the main Star Wars saga- that means you’ll be able play as Darth Maul, Han Solo, or new heroes like Rey. If integrated properly, this function will truly enhance the entire experience and removes the glaring issue that plagued the previous game: replayability.

Perhaps most exciting however, is that Battlefront 2 will arrive with an intense overhaul in regards to space battles. You can take a look at the brand new trailer below which showcases an epic dogfight between rebel and imperial forces. Star Wars Battlefront 2 drops on November 17 and will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
