Watch Bon Iver Bring Down the House During NPR Concert

After a lengthy absence, singer-songwriter Justin Vernon, delighted fans everywhere by reuniting the beloved Bon Iver project. In September, the band released the gorgeous, electronically-tinged album 22, A Million. The LP pushed the group into new sonic territory, blending traditional instruments, ethereal melodies, and ghostly drum machines. Armed with a fresh new aesthetic, the release garnered critical acclaim, eventually landing them a Grammy nomination for best alternative album.

While Bon Iver have been promoting 22, A Million at multiple tour stops, most of us have been unable to listen to the new work in a live setting. Sure, we’ve been treated to a TV appearance and YouTube clip here and there, but a concert movie has been noticeably absent. Now, and thanks to the fine folks at NPR, a complete set from the group has surfaced, and its equipped with incredible mixing and live production.

The band made a visit to Brooklyn’s Pioneer Works earlier this month, and the public broadcaster recorded the full event in its entirety. The video has since been posted for our viewing pleasure, and you can watch it below via NPR’s official website.
