Caitlyn Jenner is the year’s most fascinating person, according to Barbara Walters.

Walters named Jenner the most fascinating person of 2015 in her yearly special, which aired Thursday night on ABC, after Jenner publicly came out as transgender earlier this year. Formerly known as Bruce Jenner, Caitlyn made her public debut on the cover of Vanity Fair in June, announcing that she had transitioned from a man to a woman.

Walters’ list of 2015’s most fascinating people also included Amy Schumer, Bradley Cooper, Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Jeff Bezos, Tracy Morgan, Donna Karan, Misty Copeland and Ronda Rousey.

Jenner, who was the only one of Walters’ nine selections who wasn’t interviewed for the special, also landed on the shortlist for Time magazine‘s “Person of the Year,” which went to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and came in second place on Google’s list of 2015’s most-searched people, behind her estranged son-in-law Lamar Odom
