Watch Ellen Page And Kate Mara Spoof ‘True Detective’ with ‘Tiny Detectives’

The internet has been pretty vocal (read: unhappy) with the casting of True Detective season 2, so Funny or Die is showing HBO what they could do with the hit series if they hired on two female leads instead. Specifically, two petite female leads played by Ellen Page and Kate Mara. Sorry Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell.

Funny or Die’s hilarious True Detective parody Tiny Detectives shows Page and Mara to be every bit as tough, determined, and grizzled as Rust Cohle and Marty Hart ever were. But they face all sorts of challenges, because they’re just so damn short. (FYI… Ellen Page is 5′ 1″ and Kate Mara is 5′ 2″)
