5 Pumpkin Flavoured Drinks for Halloween

Four eerie beers and a chilling whisky to try while in costume, all available at the LCBO

Black Creek Pumpkin Ale: This 5 percent comes in a stocky 500 ml bottle and describes itself as medium and fruity. It’s from historic Black Creek Brewery in Toronto, so at least the name’s spooky. $3.95

Renaissance- Enlightenment Great Punkin: 7.2 percent, this ale gets top points for the Charlie Brown reference. Brewed with roasted pumpkin and a blend of spices to produce a pumpkin pie taste. Complex, like Linus. $5.95

St Ambroise Pumpkin Ale:  From the brewers of the delicious Oatmeal Stout comes this Halloween exclusive. It’s dry and spicy, a mix of baking spices and pumpkin flavours.  $9.95 for 4.

Spicebox Pumpkin Spiced Whisky: Boo! Made in Quebec by Maison des Futailles, this special whisky is available only while quantities last. 35% in a 750 ml bottle. Sounds delish. $27.90

Southern Tier Pumking: Definitely the spookiest label on the list, Pumking bills itself as silky smooth and luxurious, which befits royalty, as does the 9 percent. Flavored with vanilla, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon, it comes in a 650 ml.  $8.95
