Lush Relaunches Limited-Edition Shark Fin Soap In Honour Of Late Filmmaker Rob Stewart

It’s back!

Lush Cosmetics is re-releasing their limited-edition Shark Fin Soap ($5.95) in celebration of World Oceans Day. Even better? 100% of the sales of the wildly popular soap will go to support ocean-conservation efforts and the completion of the late Rob Stewart’s documentary called Sharkwater: Extinction.

Lush’s Shark Fin Soap first launched back in 2014, when it was originally created for the launch of the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week series. It was then was re-released in the summer of 2015 for the Save the Sharks Campaign and is now back again to help raise awareness for World Oceans Day and show support to Rob Stewart.

The Canadian environmentalist and filmmaker passed away during a scuba-diving incident while filming the documentary.

The limited edition vegan soap contains hydrating seaweed, exfoliating fine sea salt, and cooling lime oil. Plus, the cruelty-free soaps’ herbal fragrance will remind you of being at the beach. As Lush says on its site, you can now “swim” with the sharks and help protect them, too!

The product will be available until Lush reaches its funding goal of $250,000.
