Kanye West and his collaborators over at Adidas are looking to sustain the ongoing Yeezy hypetrain with yet another fresh release. For over two years, the leading brand has churned out a slew of dope sneakers, with both 350 and 750 boosts becoming some of the hottest and most coveted shoes on retail shelves. Along with these popular silhouettes, we’ve also seen Kanye branch out with more traditional-looking offerings including the Calabasas, and of course, the yet to be named runner he debuted during his most recent New York runway show.

All of these aforementioned kicks are definitely a statement piece and undeniably expensive, so you may be stoked to know that the next Yeezy product appears to be a perfect addition to your casual wardrobe. Thanks to Jazerai Allen-Lord, who is also a cool designer in her own right, the internet has been blessed with a sneak peek at the Yeezy Slides. The leaked sample arrives out of nowhere, and details regarding the slipper are incredibly scarce. What we do know, however, is that these rare slides feature unmistakable Yeezy branding, and appear to be made of plastic foam. The pieces are outfitted with a cool blue colourway and come armed with subtle texturing.

According to Allen-Lord, the footwear came to her via a stylist close to Kanye’s camp. She’s also told media outlets that the pair she owns were specifically made for Yeezus himself, and were produced as a limited sample. Adidas has yet to comment on the whole situation, but if hypebeasts have their way, we may be seeing some Yeezy slides sometime in the near future. Let’s hope they drop while the weather is still hot.
