Check Out Sneakertub, A Toronto-Based Sneaker Subscription Box

There’s a subscription box for everything these days: razors, socks, ingredients for your next meal; you name it, it’s available to order. Subscription boxes are useful when it comes to food or replenishing things you’re going to have to buy eventually anyway, but they’re also a lot of fun for someone who collects things. Now, thanks to Toronto-based company Sneakertub, that includes sneakerheads.

Sneakertub is a monthly subscription box for—you guessed it—sneakers. Founded by Kamaj Silva, Sneakertub is actually the first and only subscription service of its kind. When you sign up, you’ll choose from three options. Sneakertub Lite is $39.99 and includes four or five sneaker related items a month but not an actual pair of sneakers. Sneakertub Original comes with a mystery pair of sneakers plus three or four additional items for $69.99. Sneakertub Elite will set you back $149.99 a month and it comes with two pairs of sneakers and three premium accessories.

Like any subscription box service, there are plenty of “un-boxing” videos on Youtube so you can see exactly what kind of packaging and products you can expect to receive in your own box.

You never know what you’re going to get each month, but Sneakertub lists brands like Nike, Puma, adidas, and Saucony as some of the possible sneaker brands. Accessories, which might include hats, T-shirts, socks, shoe cleaning travel kits, jackets, underwear and keychains, come from a wide range of different brands like Jason Markk, Stance Socks, Vitaly and Altamount.

Sneakertub started in Toronto but they distribute from New York as well and they ship worldwide. The company launched at the beginning of 2016 and it’s still going strong with plenty of solid reviews.

If sneakers aren’t enough, you can take your whole outfit to the next level with The Kit Grid, a monthly streetwear subscription service that will deliver full outfits to your doorstep. Also founded by Silva, it’s still pretty new, but if his previous success is any indication, the boxes will include plenty of quality pieces.
