After months of anticipation and a few internet leaks, fans are finally getting a closer look at the Reebok Furykaze. The brand new silhouette comes via brand ambassador, Future, who initially signed on with the athletic company in the summer of 2016. After losing Kendrick Lamar earlier this year to rival brand Nike, Reebok appears to be doubling down on its partnership with the “Mask Off” rap sensation.

It’s a pretty safe bet too considering Future’s current hot streak. Not only does he have prominent features on several chart-topping singles, but he boasts platinum projects all of his own meritthe trap superstar has joint albums with Drake and fellow Atlantan, Young Thug too. Earlier this year, the musician released two concept albums to critical and commercial acclaim, and both reached #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Future is also no stranger to the sneaker game. The rapper has already been gifted with a slick sportswear capsule and two special Reebok runners: the InstaPump Fury and the recently released “Freebandz” Zoku Runner, named after the rapper’s record label. As for the new Furykaze, the rapper’s first signature shoe was designed with modern aesthetics and organic influences in mind.

According to an official press release, the high top sneaker was inspired by the biology and shape of a scorpion, which happens to be Future’s astrological sign. The fuzzy suede and grayscale tone matches the rough exterior of the deadly insect. The Furykaze is also equipped with unique lacing and a cushioned sole which has been crafted for optimal comfort.

The Future Furykaze will be available for purchase on Saturday, November 11. You can cop them at select retailers or on Reebok’s online store here. In related news, see what the aforementioned Kendrick Lamar is cooking up with new partner, Nike.
