Toms Celebrates 10th Annual ‘One Day Without Shoes’ Campaign On May 10

On Tuesday May 10th, Toms is asking you to go without shoes and help make a difference.

Here’s why…

Millions of children around the world live without proper footwear and are exposed to injury and disease every single day. Toms’ annual One Day Without Shoes event aims to raise awareness of the positive impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life. According to Toms founder Blake Mycoskie, the global event helps spread awareness of children’s health and education issues, and how a pair of shoes can impact both.

This year it is easier than ever to take part the annual One Day Without Shoes initiative and help put a pair of shoes on a child in need. To celebrate ten years of the global giving initiative, Toms will donate up to 100,000 pairs of shoes (10,000 pairs in 10 different countries) for every barefoot photo posted on Instagram on Tuesday May 10th that that includes the hashtag #withoutshoes.

It’s that easy. No purchase necessary. Participation is limited to one photo per person via Instagram.

So, there you have it. Helping a child in need has never been so simple. Visit www.toms.ca/one-day-without-shoes to see how One Day Without Shoes is about more than shoes, and how posting a picture of your bare feet with the #withoutshoes hashtag can help change lives.
