4 Perrier Cocktails Inspired By Andy Warhol

In the early 80s, Andy Warhol created over 40 works featuring the distinctive ‘teardrop’ Perrier bottle in a vibrant colour palette, representative of the Pop Art movement and his fascination with depicting everyday consumer products in unconventional ways.

In celebration of Perrier’s 150th anniversary, Nestle Waters Canada pays tribute to the late artist with a series of limited-edition Perrier Sparkling Water bottles and these four Warhol-inspired cocktails to enjoy at home on your own or with guests.

Perrier Pop Art

Perrier Cocktails: Perrier Pop Art

Ingredients (makes 4 cocktails):
• 2 oz Perrier
• 2 oz Vinho Verde
• 1 oz Pisco or Cachaça
• 1 oz Fresh pineapple juice
• ½ oz Cinnamon syrup*
• ½ oz Lemon juice

How:
• Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake, then double-strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice. Top with chilled Perrier.
• Cinnamon syrup: Add cinnamon sticks to water and bring to a boil. Turn off heat. For each cup of water, add ¾ cup superfine sugar. Dissolve. Let cinnamon sticks infuse for 3–4 hours.

The Factory Fizz

Perrier Cocktails: The Factory Fizz

Ingredients:
• 2 oz Apple brandy
• 2 oz Perrier
• ½ oz Simple syrup
• ½ oz Grenadine
• ½ oz Lemon juice
• 5 Mint sprigs
• 1 Egg white

How:
• Place all ingredients in a shaker, except Perrier. Dry shake to emulsify the egg white. Add ice. Shake, then strain into a fizz glass. Top with chilled Perrier. Garnish with a mint leaf.

Blonde Ambition

Ingredients:
• 2 oz Perrier
• 2 oz Vinho Verde
• 1 oz Pisco or Cachaça
• 1 oz Fresh pineapple juice
• ½ oz Cinnamon syrup*
• ½ oz Lemon juice

How:
• Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake, then double-strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice. Top with chilled Perrier.

Perrier Sublimation

Perrier Cocktails: Sublimation

Ingredients:
• 11 oz Perrier
• One of the following: Ginger (pictured), Cucumber, Lemon, Raspberries, Melon, Mint or Lavender

How:
• Perrier’s natural mineral composition and perfectly balanced bubbles bring out the flavor of any fresh fruit, vegetable or herb. Simply pour chilled Perrier over a slice of fresh lemon, raspberries, melon, mint or lavender – use your imagination and create a refreshing Perrier Sublimation that is uniquely your own! Enjoy!
• Wash and slice fruit, vegetable or herb (if necessary). Place in a highball glass and top with chilled Perrier.
