James Bond is back to drinking vodka martinis in the highly anticipated film Spectre, which hits theatres around the globe on November 6th.

Bond may have been seen drinking a bottle of Heineken in 2012’s Skyfall, but Bond aficionados know there is only one drink for 007, and that is a vodka martini, “shaken – not stirred.” Polish luxury vodka Belvedere clearly remembered Sean Connery’s infamous line from 1964’s Goldfinger, which is why they partnered with the Bond franchise to become the official vodka of the 24th Bond adventure. However, there’s a twist… In Spectre, Bond is set to ditch his straightforward vodka martini and replace it with a dirty martini, combining vodka, dry vermouth, one Sicilian green olive, and a measure of the olive’s brine.

Of course, the LVMH-owned vodka brand is harnessing Bond’s penchant for vodka martinis one step further with the release of the Belvedere 007 Spectre special edition bottle. The limited edition bottle features the iconic gun barrel and 007 etched on the glass.

Belvedere has already released a new TV campaign featuring Mexican Bond girl Stephanie Sigman gliding up to the bar and ordering a vodka martini while the Bond theme plays in the background.

The special edition 007 bottle of Belvedere Vodka is available at LCBO locations across Canada and at retailers around the world this month.
