Above: Our weekly roundup of the best dressed gents on the red carpet

There’s been a ton of action on the red carpet and we’ve (somehow) narrowed it down to showcase a few Hollywood celebs who stepped out to impress this week. From the MTV Video Music Awards in Inglewood, California to the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles to upcoming film photocalls across the ocean, here are five gents that left a lasting impression throughout the last seven days.

Matt Bomer

Of course, the best dressed gent on the 66th annual Emmy Awards was Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie nominee Matt Bomer. Bomer walked the red carpet wearing a perfectly tailored Tom Ford tuxedo and a pair of patent leather shoes. So slick. (For more looks from the 2014 Emmy red carpet click here)

Nick Jonas

A favourite on Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards red carpet was definitely Nick Jonas. The Jonas brother made a serious style statement with the navy and black check Vivienne Westwood jacket with built-in waistcoat he was sporting. (For more looks from the 2014 MTV VMA red carpet click here)

Brad Pitt

Days after he tied the knot with Angelina Jolie in Chateau Miraval, France, Brad Pitt played it cool and posed for a publicity shot for Fury at The Tank Museum Bovington in Dorset, United Kingdom.

Paul Wesley

Earlier this week Paul Wesley jetted off to Italy for the 71st Venice International Film Festival to help support his latest movie, Before I Disappear. The Vampire Diaries star looked cool and collected wearing head-to-toe-black.

Aaron Paul

Just days after winning the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the Emmy Awards, Aaron Paul stepped out to celebrate his 35th Birthday at swanky Italian eatery Madeo in West Hollywood. The Breaking Bad star donned a fitted powder blue suit and a navy printed bow tie with ease, a look few others would dare to take on.
