Adidas Introduces Ultra Boost 4.0 “Triple Black”

With even more competition on the horizon from the likes of Vans, Nike, and Reebok, the team over at Adidas is looking to end the year on a major high note. After dabbling in brand new silhouettes like the Pharrell Williams-inspired Hu Tennis, the German athletic giant is now looking to capitalize on its trusty Ultra Boost silhouette.

Fans of the popular knitted sneaker won’t have to wait long until they get their hands on the latest Ultra Boost model, as Adidas will debut a new edition later this December. Thankfully, pretty much all of what made the original pairs so great will all remain intact. The shoe’s designers are out to prove the old adage: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

The Ultra Boost 4 may not be getting a complete overhaul, but there are still a few new bells and whistles. Firstly, when the piece launches this winter, it will do so in a slick “Triple Black” colourway. It’s a sharp look that will include the traditional boost sole and caged design. New to the series, however, are the additional stripes on the woven midsole and the matted finish on the back heel. It all adds up to a fresh new take on the burgeoning Adidas classic, and will no doubt make the Ultra Boost a must-have for yet another season.

As mentioned before, the new Ultra Boost 4 will drop this December. In the meantime, check out the Adidas store for upcoming releases.
