Quick Hitters
Quinn breaks it off with Jamie, who then tells Deb to “Go have relations with herself” in passing at the police station. When Deb talks to Quinn about why it ended, they both admit to having feeling for each other still, and start swapping spit.
Masuka’s daughter shows up at a crime scene high, stating that she didn’t know she’d have to work since it was Saturday. Banished back to the house and admonished for smoking pot, she delivers a “you can boss me around at work, but you can’t tell me what to do with my life” line that really just left like it was inserted to remind us that they have a tenuous relationship – you know, just in case you thought things were aces after they’ve been in each other’s lives for seven whole episodes.
My Two Cents
Everything is starting to come together, but not in a good way for Dexter. His worlds are starting to collide and something’s gotta give.
Will “DMC” catch Hannah? If so how will that affect Dexter? And what about Daniel? And where does Debra fit into all this? How will it all play out?
My guess is that Dexter, Hannah, and Harrison make it out of town by the skin of their teeth. “DMC” is going to have to end up dead, just because he’s trying to foil their getaway plans, but that will get dropped on Daniel, who ends up dead by Debra’s gun, instead of Dexter’s blade.
Of course, I could change my mind on this by next week, and that’s what makes these final two episodes so appealing. Whatever your theory is, you’ve only got two more weeks to wait until you find out how it all ends.
Until next time… it’s been a slice.
