The Star Wars anthology is getting even larger next month, with the release of the hotly anticipated film, Rogue One. The new addition to the universe takes place before the original 1977 debut, and follows a band of rebels en route to capture the schematics of the dreaded Death Star. Critics and box office aficionados are bracing themselves for the debut, and are expecting it to be one of the year’s biggest movies.

Starring Felicity Jones, Forest Whitaker, and Mad Mikkelsen, the film is equipped with a pretty stellar cast, and judging from the brief teases we’ve received, it’ll be augmented by incredible special effects. Arguably the most exciting feature of the movie, is the inclusion of the series’ most iconic villain, Darth Vader. We’re not sure as to how his sinister presence will play a role in the movie, but no doubt the Sith Lord will be a scene-stealer.

If this all sounds up your alley, then hold onto your seats, because we’re getting our final round of footage from Rogue One. The trailer clocks in at a painfully short one minute, and was released via the Movieclips website. If you’re anything like us, then you’re likely to pause the teaser and search for potential clues. The action-packed montage includes Death Star construction, Imperial generals, and speedy battle droids. You can check out all of the explosive goodness below.
