‘Star Wars Battlefront 2’ Looks Really, Really Good

The makers of Star Wars Battlefront want you to forget about 2015. Two years ago, developers at EA DICE released the aforementioned video game to lukewarm reviews and general disappointment. The most recent entry in the beloved series was the first Battlefront title in a decade, and judging from a few teases, it was set to be the adventure gamers were looking for.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t at all the case, as the game was found to be incredibly short and ultimately rather boring. Battlefront quickly fell from one of 2015’s most talked about titles, to one of its bargain bin buys. Needless to say, fans were pretty bummed out. Well, EA must’ve heard our cries because Battlefront 2 is already right around the corner, and gosh are we getting our hopes up for this one.

We’ve already been hit with a teaser trailer for the upcoming video game, but the most recent visual leak is considerably longer and therefore considerably more exciting. In this new extended look, Star Wars‘ own Fin (John Boyega) leads us through the sequel’s brand new modes, characters, and items. According to Boyega, we can expect almost triple the content when we download Battlefront 2, which shoots the replayability factor through the roof.

Along with classic heroes like Luke Skywalker and original saga lore, Battlefront 2 will boast prequel and threequel characters and storylines. It will also overhaul space combat and will even include a fresh single-player campaign for those offline nights. Check out the trailer below and get properly amped. Star Wars Battlefront 2 drops on November 17 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
