It’s officially November and that means we’re now just a few weeks away from the year’s biggest movie. On December 15, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit silver screens worldwide and the highly anticipated adventure is shaping up to be a doozy. We’ve already been blessed with some special behind the scenes footage, but as one would expect, there are still plenty of secrets left to be discovered—including the biggest one of them all.

Of course, details regarding the sci-fi blockbuster will remain shrouded in mystery, but Disney and Lucasfilm are treating us to a steady dose of exclusive featurettes. Earlier this May, we got our first extended look at The Last Jedi thanks to the folks over at Vanity Fair. You can revisit the aforementioned clip over here. Meanwhile, another sneak peek dropped this week via Star Wars director, Rian Johnson, who narrates a brand new video directly from the film’s set.

Entitled, “Directing Star Wars”, the mini documentary shows Rian navigating the Last Jedi’s back lot as he guides stars like John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and the late Carrie Fisher. To no one’s surprise, the endeavour seems incredibly challenging but judging from a few clips, life on set was made easier thanks to Johnson’s sage guidance. According to recent news reports, the Looper director won’t be back to take on the formally untitled follow-up, Star Wars Episode 9. Deadline confirmed in mid September that this honour will go to J.J. Abrams, who also helmed 2015’s The Force Awakens.

You can watch the aforementioned behind-the-scenes video below via YouTube. In related news, check out the amazing new trailer for the forthcoming video game, Star Wars Battlefront 2, which is available on all major consoles November 17.
