Summer hasn’t quite made its appearance yet and chilly evenings mean it’s too soon to ditch wearing socks. Its sugar and cream content should have you substituting this drink for dessert, lest those summer shorts be snug in all the wrong places.

• 16 oz (480 mL) hot coffee
• 8 small white sugar cubes (or 8 teaspoons of sugar)

• Pour 35% cream into a blender and blend to slightly thicken the cream, set the blender cup on ice to one side.

• Add 4 oz (12 ml) hot coffee to each glass.
• Pour in 1 oz (30 mL) Tullamore Dew to coffee.
• Pour the cold cream down the back of a spoon on the top of each drink where it will float and look nice.
