Jordan Brand is looking to continue its dominance this year, and they’re not afraid to break the bank to do so. Along with their highly publicized Off-White collaboration and their freshly launched 32 sneaker, the famous basketball staple is turning to the courts for their latest business move. Earlier today, it was confirmed that the Nike-owned company has extended NBA superstar, Russell Westbrook, to a huge sponsorship deal.

The two parties are already quite familiar with each other, as the reigning MVP is currently in the midst of a Jordan deal that will take him until the end of this upcoming season. This shiny new agreement, however, is a massive ten-year contract that will net Westbrook an incredible (but currently undisclosed) sum of cash. According to sources at ESPN, the dough will make the Oklahoma City Thunder player a very wealthy man.

An exact number has yet to be revealed, but industry insiders are saying that the move will be the most lucrative signing in Jordan’s history. Aside from being a brand ambassador, the signing will of course also come with a series of signature Westbrook shoes. We’ve already seen a handful of game-ready joints from Russ, but this new deal will include off-court wear and casual attire. Even more exciting is that the guard’s forthcoming signature kicks will be, according to sources “unlike anything that Jordan Brand has done before”.

While we await more news regarding the historic deal, amp yourself up for the impending retail drop by checking out mind-blowing dunks from the man himself.
