Converse has released it’s fall 2013 Hudson’s Bay Company Jack Purcell sneaker collection, which was designed in collaboration with the Canadian retailer. It is the first time ever, the signature colours of The Hudson’s Bay Company’s iconic woolen blanket have been used on a shoe.
There are two styles available in unisex sizing – the Converse Jack Purcell and the JP Duck Boot. The last shoe in the fashionable capsule collection is a women’s only Helen silhouette. Prices range from $120-140.
Each of the one-of-a-kind styles features HBC’s signature creme, yellow, green, red and blue colourway, threaded stitching, antique brass eyelets and the Jack Purcell and Hudson’s Bay logos on the foot bed. Additionally, the Jack Purcell Duck Boot features a leather collar and heel stay, as well as embroidery on the tongue of the shoe, generating an elevated style that merges these two iconic worlds.
