Sneakers inspired by bartenders?

It’s true. The latest sneaker collaboration has LA based footwear brand Generic Surplus partnering with Cutty Sark Blended Scotch Whisky on a new Hi-Top that any sneakerhead or whisky lover would love.

The limited edition kicks are all about combining comfort with style. Designed with bartenders in mind, the water-resistant sneakers feature a black leather upper, accented by pops of off-white and yellow, finished with an off-white canvas lining with yellow pinstripes. The shoe is super-cushioned to keep you going after being on your feet all night. The Cutty Sark Clipper is also subtly embossed on the sneaker’s tongue. The look of the Hi-Tops is a nod to the new Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition whisky – a whisky handcrafted from top quality grain and single malt whiskies and bottled at 100 proof.

Of course, this collab is the most recent for Generic Surplus, who’ve previously made headlines with sneaker collaborations with rebel fashion house Comme des Garçons, and famed cult artist Shepard Fairey’s Obey line.

The Generic Surplus X Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition Hi-Top sneakers will be sold exclusively at www.genericsurplus.com starting November 4th for $149.99.
