Tommy Hilfiger Announces Rafael Nadal As Global Brand Ambassador For Underwear And Tailored Collections

Timmy Hilfiger has announced that Rafael Nadal, the internationally renowned tennis star, has been signed as the global brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger underwear and the Tommy Hilfiger Tailored collection.

The first Hilfiger campaign starring Nadal will be shot in early 2015 in his native Spain, with the ads breaking online and in print around the world in the fall.

“I’ve always admired Tommy Hilfiger’s cool, all-American designs which are sophisticated and easy to wear, and I’m excited to be partnering with the brand,” Nadal said in a press release.

The Tommy Hilfiger underwear collection is looking to refresh its classic styles with updated fits, revamped fabrics and elevated details, while the Tommy Hilfiger Tailored collection will feature sharp silhouettes, modern tailoring and rich textures.

The 14-time Grand Slam winner (winning the French, Australian and U.S. Opens; Wimbledon; and a 2008 Olympic gold medal) has been widely acknowledged as one of the greatest professional tennis players in history and ranks amongst the world’s top five tennis players.
