Everything Apple Announced At The iPhone 7 Event

If there’s one thing we’ve come to learn about tech giant Apple, it’s that they know how to throw an event. Today’s press conference was no exception, as the company unveiled their newest batch of services and software, most notably of course, the iPhone 7. The event was chock-full of information, and featured guest appearances by design officers at Instagram, Nike, and even Sia, because why not?

The whole shebang started off with an introduction by James Corden, who led Tim Cook and ageless wonder, Pharrell Williams, through a mini episode of Carpool Karaoke. The significance? Apple is apparently partnering with the series for exclusive segments, likely powered by Apple Music. This tidbit was dropped within the first few minutes of the show. If you were unable to stream the presser, and have yet to dare the Twitterverse, we’ve jotted down the highlights. If you’re a fan of Apple products, prepare to hold onto your butts.

ConnectED & iWork

Apple also propped up its national initiative to bring tech to under-resourced schools. This year, 114 schools will be supported by the company, and thousands of iPads and Macs will be donated to students. Apple is also teaching coding, with a project called “Everyone Can Code”. Other big news, is that iWork will now implement real time collaboration, which is something Google Drive has championed for a while now.
