Everything Apple Announced At The iPhone 7 Event

If there’s one thing we’ve come to learn about tech giant Apple, it’s that they know how to throw an event. Today’s press conference was no exception, as the company unveiled their newest batch of services and software, most notably of course, the iPhone 7. The event was chock-full of information, and featured guest appearances by design officers at Instagram, Nike, and even Sia, because why not?

The whole shebang started off with an introduction by James Corden, who led Tim Cook and ageless wonder, Pharrell Williams, through a mini episode of Carpool Karaoke. The significance? Apple is apparently partnering with the series for exclusive segments, likely powered by Apple Music. This tidbit was dropped within the first few minutes of the show. iPhone 7 Plus

Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 Plus has two cameras. One has the wide angle, while the other is a telephoto lens. The iPhone 7 Plus has a zoom camera lens, and its dual capabilities allow you to zoom in 10x. The new iPhone 7 Plus has a portrait feature, creating incredible depth of field. It really is the best camera on a smartphone, and it also posses the clearest HD display on the market. Everything on the HD retina display is colour balanced. For the first time, iPhone 7 has stereo speakers, one at the top and one at the bottom. As far as performance goes, the iPhone 7 has a four core processor and is 120x faster than the 2007 model. Aside from its speed, the processors allow stunning visual display, which was exemplified via beta gameplay. iPhone 7 has the longest battery in the series ever. The size of memory has now doubled, with the standard issue of the phone containing 32 GB of storage. This increase in storage is available in both the 7 and 7 Plus models.
