The future is now for music fans. South Korean tech giant, LG, is making our home listening experience even slicker, with a brand new futuristic speaker. Dubbed the PJ9, the cutting-edge device will offer high quality sound, and even more exciting, will levitate for everyone to see. In an official press release, company officials spoke of the product’s unique design as a marrying of style and sound. “The PJ9 wireless speaker is an exciting combination of audio design and innovation, offering the perfect balance between performance, beauty and versatility,” said LG employee, Tim Alessi. “This latest addition to our growing lineup of premium wireless audio devices will not only turn heads, but it makes the bold statement that LG is committed to exploring new concepts and pioneering innovative audio designs for consumers around the world”.

The PJ9 is currently slated for release during the widely popular, Consumer Electronics Show, which takes place from January 5-9. The speaker will likely be showcased at the event and demonstrated for the mass market. While the complete list of features are slim, we do know that the charging process for the device is completely hassle free. When the 10-hour battery life is drained, the speaker descends into its docking port to refuel its system – No hassle of wires, no switch over of AAs, just a smart and clean transition. Along with this neat function, the PJ9 has bluetooth capability, and is able to stream your entire music library. No price has been set for the speaker, but stay tuned to this year’s CES for the full details.
