Name: Margot Elise Robbie

Birthdate: July 2, 1990

Birthplace: Dalby, Australia

Claim to fame: North American audiences first came to know this Australian beauty in her breakout performance as Leonardo Dicaprio’s equally crazy and sexy wife, Naomi Lapaglia, in The Wolf of Wall Street. But she had already been well established in the Australian film industry years before, specifically in her reoccurring role as Donna Freedman on the popular Australian soap, Neighbours.

What we can see her in next: After stealing scenes from Leonardo Dicaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street and launching herself onto the Hollywood ‘hot list’, Margot Robbie’s schedule is jam-packed. She just finished filming the comedy Focus with Will Smith, and is currently filming Z for Zachariah in New Zealand, in which she stars opposite Chris Pine and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Most notably, she has just booked the coveted role of ‘Jane’ in 2016’s remake of Tarzan, in which she’ll star alongside Alexander Skarsgard who will be playing Tarzan. She apparently beat out Emma Stone for the role.

Interesting fact: She got drunk before filming her sex scenes with Leonardo Dicaprio. She had been stressing for months beforehand about a few particular scenes, so a member from the crew fetched her some Tequila and she downed three shots right before shooting some of the movie’s pivotal and rambunctious sex scenes.

Best quote: “We Australians are incredibly laid-back until it comes to drinking or playing sports” – Talking about her native Australia

Why we love her: Well, if you’ve seen The Wolf of Wall Street then this is an obvious one. If it wasn’t her revoking Leo Dicaprio of sex, with her legs spread and revealing, “I’m not wearing any panties”, then it was surely how captivating and beautiful she was up on the screen. She’s also got a whole lot of talent and acting experience on her resume to back up her model looks. She rose to fame in her native Australia with a reoccurring role on the popular soap opera, Neighbours, which eventually led to her heading to Hollywood to pursue her career in a bigger market. Then came a quick stint on the show Pan Am, which was cancelled after one season due to poor ratings, but quickly after came a small role in About Time starring Rachel McAdams that put her on the map of casting directors in Hollywood. Which helped lead to an audition for Martin Scorsese’s movie and her breakout role in the Oscar nominated film, where she stole scenes from heavyweight actors and got every man in America’s libido firing on Cialis levels.

Now she’s been to the Oscars and is completely booked up with major film roles for the next year. We’re going to be seeing a lot of Margot Robbie in the coming year, and I don’t think you’ll hear anybody complaining about that. Also, as of just recent, she gave in to peer pressure from friends and got an Instagram account, so you can follow her to see her gorgeousness in your picture stream regularly.
