Gap Launches Its 6th Limited Edition Collection With GQ

Earlier this spring, Gap and GQ announced that they would be switching things up for the 2017 edition of their popular ‘Best New Menswear Designers in America’ initiative. This year, the highly anticipated capsule collection hits select Gap stores on Tuesday September 26 featuring a trio of ‘the coolest designers on the planet.’

French brand AMI, Brooklyn-based Kinfolk and Tokyo’s United Arrows & Sons have all created special limited-edition capsule menswear collections exclusive to the retailer. Each international label was tasked with re-imagining casual staples like T-shirts, crewneck pullovers, button-down shirts, denims and accessories. Canadian prices range from $34.95 to $318.

GQ‘s Editor-in-Chief, Jim Nelson, had this to say about the revamped 2017 initiative:

“We knew expanding this collaboration and taking it international would add vibrancy to the program, and this year’s amazing designers certainly brought it. Now comes the best part: We can’t wait to see the clothes hit Gap stores, because this year feels very special.”

Gap’s sixth limited-edition collection with GQ, this year featuring ‘the coolest designers on the planet’ is available starting Tuesday September 27th online through GapCanada.ca and at select Gap stores across Canada including: Sherway Gardens, Queen Street West, Bloor Street West, Toronto Eaton Centre, and Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Ontario; Chinook Centre in Alberta; Polo Park in Manitoba; Montreal Eaton Centre in Quebec; Oakridge Centre, Metropolis at Metrotown, and Pacific Centre in British Columbia.
