Seems like a common theme that child-stars who go off the deep end have pretty irresponsible parents from the get-go. Shia LaBeouf, often left alone on set of Disney’s Even Stevens, is no exception. Now he’s Hollywood’s newest dickhead, especially since being accused of plagiarism and retiring from acting via twitter posts. He’s come back though, claiming the whole drunken stupor was performance art, a la Joaquin Phoenix. Apparently he and Marilyn Manson like to hang out.

Another Disney original, Amanda Bynes was host and star of The Amanda Show, Disney channel’s version of MAD TV, before going on to sitcom work and movie roles. Then she kind of faded from the limelight, and retired in June 2010. In July 2010 she un-retired, went on to be involved in several DUI’s and hit-and-runs, and took to twitter to post some really startling photos and comments. Plus her dog ran away, and died.
