The New ‘It’ Trailer Is Out And It’s Creepy

A new trailer for the upcoming film, IT seriously spooked audiences during the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday night.

Directed by Andres Muschietti, IT is an adaptation of Stephen King’s infamous 1986 horror novel of the same name. The 1990’s adaptation of the novel scared a generation of kids off clowns for life, but the upcoming adaptation is promising to be even better.

The sneak peek is the second look at the film since the record-breaking trailer’s release in late March. The first trailer garnered 197 million views globally in its first 24 hours, breaking The Fate of the Furious record (139 million views) for the most-watched trailer online in a single day.

The Stephen King adaptation stars Bill Skarsgard stars as Pennywise, the demonic clown who terrorizes a town full of kids. The kids in question are played by Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor.

IT hits theatres across the country on September 8.
