Madden 25
Madden 25 (PS3, XBOX 360)
While it’s easy to dismiss Madden 25 as a roster update masquerading as a full-featured release, this edition fixes last year’s game in several important ways. Running the ball – which used to be a simple exercise in holding down the turbo button – now feels fluid and deep. Added spins, jukes and half-steps make running a legitimate alternative to bombing Hail Mary passes down the field. The addition of Owner Mode means you can micro-manage every aspect of a franchise (right down to setting ticket prices), and upgradable players in the Connected Modes give you a real incentive to practice. An irresistible, understated addition to the Madden franchise, Madden 25 is the most complete football video game experience yet.
