“Weird Al” Yankovic is beloved by fans for his hilarious parodies of popular chart-topping songs, such as Lorde’s “Royals” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” As if the fact that his parodies top the charts themselves wasn’t proof enough of how much fans love him, they have now fueled a petition on change.org to get the singer to perform during the Super Bowl’s upcoming half-time show in February.

The petition has gone viral, already exceeding the original goal of 50,000 signatures. In fact, the petition now has over 100,000 supporters and it’s still going strong.

As far as the petition resulting in an actual performance from Yankovic is concerned, that is yet to be determined. No comment has been made so far from the NFL or Yankovic. What do you think? Will the petition be enough to influence a deal between Yankovic and the NFL for a Super Bowl performance? Let us know your thoughts below.
