Heineken’s Alcohol-Free Beer Might Help You Finish Off Dry January

We’re half way through January, so we have to ask the question… Are you ready to give up on your Dry January resolutions?

Dry January is a public health campaign launched by the charity Alcohol Concern in England in 2014. Studies have shown that quitting alcohol for a short period of time can lead to better sleep patterns, lower cholesterol levels and weight loss.

Whether your original goal was just to cut back for the month or use Dry January as a stepping stone to cutting alcohol out altogether, it can be a challenge. Thankfully, for those struggling to make it through without opening up a beer, Heineken has introduced the new 69-calorie Heineken 0.0.

The alcohol-free beer was designed to taste just like a classic Heineken. It’s even brewed the same way, mixing and fermenting water, malted barley, and hop extract with Heineken’s A-yeast. The alcohol is then removed from the beer, and blended by brewmakers to get a fruity, malty flavor similar to the original.

Essentially… a beer you can enjoy drinks with friends and stick to your Dry January goals.

Heineken 0.0 is available across the country. It comes in 330ml cans and bottles, 6 packs of 330ml cans and 6 packs of 330ml bottles.
