Brooks Brothers, America’s oldest clothier (founded in 1818 in New York City) has opened the doors to their new flagship store at 110 Bloor Street in Toronto’s fashionable Yorkville neighbourhood. The impressive 15,000 square foot space takes inspiration from the nearly 100-year-old Brooks Brothers flagship store on Madison Ave in New York City.

The main level houses women’s clean-cut essentials and accessories, along with the luxurious Thom Browne-designed Black Fleece collection for both men and women. Head down to the lower level and gents will find a spacious men’s lounge filled with polos, preppy gingham-check shirts, patchwork plaid shorts, fun argyle socks and piles of blue-blood menswear. Also worthy of note? The comfy “made to measure” area for custom orders, like that slick slim-fit navy tux you’ve been dreaming of.

Not entirely your Grandfather’s old-school Brooks Brothers.
