This month? We try out Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT
Do you see technology as an extension of yourself? And not because of the Smart phone in your back pocket, your favourite apps or how frequently you tap into your Uber account. Rather, because you want to push yourself beyond the limits, imagine every possibility and to be open to new horizons?
Prada’s latest eau Luna Rossa Ocean agrees. In fact it’s the basis for the fragrance’s entire concept, that when men combine their intellect and physicality with innovation, there’s nothing they can’t do.
The sentiment is purposeful and powerful, which comes as no surprise considering the Italian brand is renowned for making fashionable statements for men and for women. Like the choppy, textured virtual haircuts 24 of their runway models received right before walking the catwalk in Shanghai this past September. Or Miiucci Prada’s never-ending exploration of Barbie and Ken standards and her quest to push fashion’s boundaries through a-typical-looking fabrics, prints, colours and models.
Now, the brand has captured this zest for life and empowerment in Luna Rossa Ocean’s fresh, herbal and aromatic blend. Here, bright and spicy bergamot and pink pepper are mixed with fresh and botanical lavender and sage before being absorbed into a sensual elixir of suede, saffron and orris notes. Last but not least, an addition of warm patchouli and musk with tart vetiver gives the eau its undeniable sense of masculinity, hope and inspiration.
Crafted by perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaim, both renowned for coveted men’s fragrances such as Burberry Brit Rhythm and Ralph Lauren Polo respectively, the Italian couture house’s latest scent is certain to fuel the souls of its wearers.
