Gap Launches 3rd Collection With GQ's Best New Menswear Designers In America

The Gap’s limited-edition capsule collection with GQ magazine’s 2014 Best New Menswear Designers in America hits shelves on Tuesday September 30th. Brooklyn Tailors, En Noir, John Elliott + Co, and M.Nii have all created limited-edition menswear collections, that will be available at select Gap stores and GapCanada.ca.

It’s the third season that the San Francisco-based mega retailer has collaborated with the winners of GQ’s Best New Menswear Designers in America project, an annual roundup of up-and-coming design talent that began in 2007. The four designers, along with the pieces from their limited-edition Gap capsule collections, will be showcased in GQ‘s October issue.

The collection includes a range of pieces from classic T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants and denim to such slightly dressier pieces like tweed ties, tailored blazers and trousers as well as outerwear offerings such as field jackets, leather jackets and a bonded mac overcoat. Canadian prices range from $39.95 for classic tees to $420 for the black leather hoodie.

The collection will be available starting Tuesday September 30th online through GapCanada.ca and at select Gap stores across Canada. In Toronto (Eaton Centre, 375 Queen Street East, 60 Bloor Street and Yorkdale Shopping Centre); Montreal Eaton Centre; Vancouver at 1125 Robson St.; and in Calgary at Chinook Mall.
