Pharrell Williams and Adidas Launch the Crazy BYW PW Sneaker

Surprise! Pharrell Williams and Adidas are teaming up yet again for a brand new sneaker release, and yes, it’s another home run. The two creative forces revealed their latest offering this week, which is a basketball shoe appropriately named, the Crazy BYW. The fresh and totally wild silhouette is the first in the series, and is also the debut ball sneaker from Pharrell. Just last month, the cultural icon and N.E.R.D mastermind cooked up a new cream colourway for his popular NMD collaboration — the Hu remains one of the most popular and highly coveted models in the Adidas arsenal.

The Crazy BYW PW is armed with a bright, neon flyknit and a sock-like upper that will allow for maximum comfort. In addition, the shoe also utilizes a redesigned Boost sole and new and improved lacing technology. Much like it’s Hu NMD counterpart, the Crazy is adorned with a phrase atop the midsole: this time it’s the word “ambition” that’s highlighted by bold block lettering. According to Adidas, the new basketball piece will only be available to a select few fans and will exclusively sold at 747 Warehouse in Los Angeles. However, we fully expect these to land on resell sites as soon as they debut on store shelves this weekend.

You can get a closer look at the unique sneaker below thanks to the good folks over at Sole Collector. While you patiently wait for these to ship to your door, revisit one of Pharrell’s more recent athletic drops, the Tennis Hu.
