Bold Fabrics

Another trend to be on the lookout for this upcoming fall is big and bold statement patterns. Plaid, tartan, check and houndstooth… they will all work. Sure you could play it safe and opt for a dress shirt or classic style coat with an oversize pattern, but the true fashionisto should pick up a statement slim-fit suit with seriously oversized checks. You’ll be the most stylish guy in the boardroom. Guaranteed.

It’s true. Sweatpants can actually be stylish thanks to a shift in attitude towards more sport-inspired pieces. This fall, weekend warriors are encouraged to ditch their frumpy old drawstring sweats and try something a little more modern. Re-invented sweats feature slimmer silhouettes and tapered legs and are cool enough to wear when you walk out the door to run errands – but remember every piece has a time and place.

The 3-Button Blazer

This fall get ready for the return of the three-button blazer. The structured three-button blazer makes a stylish statement and definitely offers a more casual alternative to the double-breasted version. Of course, this trend is ideal for guys taller than six feet because the buttons on the jacket reach higher up on the chest, making it more visually appealing on the taller men.
