The Best-Dressed Men Of The Week (November 21, 2014)

Above: Our weekly roundup of the best dressed gents on the red carpet

There’s no doubt about it, Alan Ferguson looked like a boss last Saturday when he said “I do” at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. The video director wasn’t the only notable gent spotted in the last week. From Matthew McConaughey receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame to Josh Hutcherson on his whirlwind Hunger Games promotional tour, here are five gents that left a lasting impression throughout the last seven days.

Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson

While every blog on the internet was freakin’ out over Solange Knowles’ Humberto Leon for Kenzo floor-length wedding gown and matching cape, we were sizing up the groom. True, Beyoncé’s little sis looked pretty damn incredible… but so did Alan Ferguson wearing a white Lanvin suit sans tie and a pair of killer Lanvin gold toe-cap shoes.

Matthew McConaughey

This week was a big one for Matthew McConaughey. On Monday afternoon, the actor was in Hollywood, California to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Of course, the Dolce & Gabbana ambassador was clad in head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana.

Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin

Earlier this week Ricky Martin joined Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham on the red carpet for the 5th annual Global Gift Gala in London wearing a sharp black Giorgio Armani tuxedo. Martin finished off his look with a sparkling silver bow-tie, also from the Italian fashion label.

Eddie Redmayne

He’s back! Eddie Redmayne tops the best-dressed list (surprise) with this slick number he wore to the Hollywood Film Awards to receive the Hollywood Breakout Performance Actor award for his turn in The Theory of Everything. Fact: Redmayne has really mastered the two tone jacket trend.

Josh Hutcherson

In case you haven’t seen the non-stop ads, commercials… The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 officially opens today. Josh Hutcherson has been touring the globe with the cast promoting the hell out of it. Good thing he’s been looking pretty sharp. This tone-on-tone shirt and tie combination is a perfect example of his red carpet sartorial style.
