This month Toms is asking you to go without shoes and help make a difference.
Millions of children around the world live without proper footwear and are exposed to injury and disease every single day. Toms’ annual One Day Without Shoes event aims to raise awareness of the positive impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life. According to Toms founder Blake Mycoskie, the global event helps spread awareness of children’s health and education issues, and how a pair of shoes can impact both.
This year, it is easier than ever to take part in the global initiative. To celebrate the eighth annual One Day Without Shoes initiative, Toms will donate up to one million pairs of shoes for every barefoot photo posted on Instagram between Tuesday May 5 and Thursday May 21 that includes the hashtag #withoutshoes.
No purchase necessary. Participation is limited to one photo per person via Instagram.
Helping children in need has never been so simple. Visit www.toms.ca/one-day-without-shoes to see how One Day Without Shoes is about more than shoes, and how posting a picture with the hashtag can help change lives.
