Two iconic American brands are joining forces yet again. Earlier this week, Vans revealed that it will continue its partnership with legendary cartoon IP, Peanuts. Even better news is that the two are already set for a fresh sneaker release. The collection will debut later this fall, and it’ll feature new branded apparel adorned with classic Peanut characters like Snoopy and Charlie Brown.
Before any eyebrows are raised, know that the two brands are already well acquainted. This past summer, Vans and Peanuts launched an extensive capsule of merchandise to rave reviews. Along with a set of funky sweaters, shirts, and jackets, the unlikely collaboration hit a homerun with a line of unique and colourful kicks. The original capsule pulled from illustrations from the late ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s and paired them with some popular Vans silhouettes, building upon the dark-horse success that the company has experienced this year.
The upcoming release will once again deliver Peanuts branded sneakers, and judging from some early looks, they’ll continue to be incredibly playful and effortlessly cool. Along with a Snoopy checkered Slip-On, Vans will also roll out a comic-inspired Authentic and a character heavy Old Skool.
