If there’s one thing we’ve come to learn about tech giant Apple, it’s that they know how to throw an event. Today’s press conference was no exception, as the company unveiled their newest batch of services and software, most notably of course, the iPhone 7. The event was chock-full of information, and featured guest appearances by design officers at Instagram, Nike, and even Sia, because why not?

The whole shebang started off with an introduction by James Corden, who led Tim Cook and ageless wonder, Pharrell Williams, through a mini episode of Carpool Karaoke. The significance? Apple is apparently partnering with the series for exclusive segments, likely powered by Apple Music. This tidbit was dropped within the first few minutes of the show. If you were unable to stream the presser, and have yet to dare the Twitterverse, we’ve jotted down the highlights. If you’re a fan of Apple products, prepare to hold onto your butts.

App Store

Since its creation, there have been an astounding, 140 Billion apps downloaded from the online store. In the last two months, Apple has continued the trend of 100% growth year-to-year. This has made the App Store generate twice the global revenue than its next competitor. The most popular download among customers? Games. Video games are the most popular thing about the App Store, so Apple is giving us all a little present. Nintendo has allowed Mario to come to the service, with a new game called, Super Mario Run. It will release this holiday season, and will feature our favourite Italian plumber. Thankfully, the app won’t include pesky in-game purchases. The news was confirmed by Mario creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, who also happens to be the cutest man of all time.
