Think Disney World is just for kids? Think again.

Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida (near Kissimmee) is an adult playground that is guaranteed to bring out that long lost feeling of being a kid in any cynical visitor. In fact, every year an overwhelming percentage of guests to the world’s ultimate entertainment complex are adults visiting for their honeymoons, on dates or with a group of friends looking for a fun-filled getaway.

Walt Disney World opened in 1971, and today has a total of four different theme parks spread across its 27,258 acre complex: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Each of the theme parks is unique and filled with incredible attractions, activities, tons of outdoor shopping, and world class dinning. Of course, visitors can easily explore each of the theme parks during their visit with a Park Hopper pass, which grants you access to all four of the theme parks.

Walt Disney World really is a place “Where Dreams Come True” and it can be a ton of fun with or without kids, but it is massive and can be overwhelming even for the most travel savvy of guests.
