5 Must-Have Spring Jackets

Despite Mother Nature’s fiercest protests (snow on April 1st in Toronto was just a cruel joke), spring is approaching us here in Canada. But since we’ve already seen how unpredictable weather in our country can be, it’s important to pack a spring jacket. Temperatures drop quickly and those sunny patio drinks can turn into you shivering at the table, begging your friends to move it inside. Add an extra layer of warmth this spring with these coats.

Storm System Cotton Bomber Jacket

$550.00

Charles Macintosh first patented his invention for waterproof cloth in 1823 and the first Mackintosh coats (we’re not sure where the extra k comes from either) were manufactured in a family textile factory in Glasgow, which is all to say that like Penfield, Mackintosh knows cold weather. This cotton bomber looks similar to the varsity jackets so popular these days, but with some smart tweaks, like Loro Piana fabric (which is water and wind resistant) and gingham lining.
