Footy fanatics and streetwear buffs rejoice: there’s a brand new soccer-inspired shoe hitting store shelves this week. German athletic brand, Adidas, is once again taking style from the pitch and bringing it all the way onto the street… and they’re doing it with style.

Starting now, you’ll be able to cop the Adidas Predator Accelerator in a slick “Core Black” colourway. The shoe, of course, borrows heavily from the Predator series of soccer cleats, and includes a folded tongue to protect and hide away your laces. The piece is an ideal option for indoor soccer games, but its clean design make them a perfect runner for everyday activities.

If you happen to follow the beautiful game, you’re already well aware that the Predator silhouette is undeniably iconic. Initially whipped up based on a prototype from Aussie footballer Craig Johnston, the Predator has since become one of the most trusted and coveted cleats on the market. While there have been many iterations of the boot, the main feature of them all are the rubber patches on the toe that allows for an accurate and easy striking technique.

Meanwhile, this brand new “Core Black” version is equipped with a classic colourway along with modern tinges, including premium Kangaroo leather along the upper portion of the shoe. The bottom of the boot is also outfitted with Boost technology, which means it’ll be extremely comfy. As previously mentioned, the sneaker is available now at select retailers.
