The infamous Air Jordan 1 is the gift that keeps on giving for sneakerheads. More than thirty years since its initial debut, the classic silhouette is still turning heads and exciting streetwear aficionados to this very day. Once a courtside staple, the beloved piece has now transformed into a modern day icon worn by everyone from Jay-Z, to Rihanna, and even fashion superstar Noami Campbell.

Last year, Jordan Brand took the model to Off-White mastermind, Virgil Abloh, who then produced an incredibly successful collaborative pair — the remix poured more gas onto the Jordan 1 fire, and the joint ended up taking home the coveted Footwear News “Sneaker of the Year” award. Not one to let up, the regal basketball shoe is coming into 2018 heavy with a number of subtle but clean updates.

Next month, fans will be clamouring to get their hands on an earthy Clay Green update on the Jordan 1. The “Black Toe” refresh is armed with a suede tick and upper, while the rest of the midsole maintains a crisp ivory white. The shoes themselves will be available for purchase starting May 5. But just like any Jordan drop, make sure you’re on it as soon as they hit store shelves.

As of now, it looks like the Clay Green will set buyers back about $200 CAD. You can get an early look at the sneaker below via our slideshow.
