After a series of major home runs, Adidas is looking to continue its incredibly successful partnership with fashion and music icon, Pharrell Williams. The two parties are set to drop new variations of the slick and limited Hu tennis shoe on July 21.

The popular knitted sneaker will arrive next week in ice blue, tan brown, and multi-colour threads, and judging from new images, they’ll be as dope as ever. Built with lightweight tech and boost soles, the Hu is primed to become one of the most stylish and certainly comfiest offerings on the market. The Hu borrows its silhouette from historic Adidas athletic trainers like the Stan Smith, but it also blends with it futuristic sensibilities.

Pharell and Adidas have a long history, with the artist rocking customized branded wear for a number of years now. Williams has been seen with one-of-a-kind Adidas apparel before, wearing bold jackets and tops at awards shows and live performances. More recently, however, the Neptunes producer has made a name for himself with his Human Race line – Hu for short.

These branded capsules, including the trendy NMD offerings, have been flying off store shelves for months now. Along with Kanye West’s omnipresent Yeezy line, Adidas has continued to strengthen their cultural presence by linking up with Pharrell. Here’s hoping that these new batch of clean-looking Hu tennis creps will continue the undeniable winning streak. You can see the new Hu colourways below, but once again, you’ll have wait on their official release next week.
