In its latest incarnation, the Vette has an air of violence to it, stepping away from the aging C6 looks – it sits lower, wider with a gaping fascia ever-more deserving of the title, “Stingray”. The base-model 6.2-litre V8 relatively remains the same animal, bolted to a 6-speed automatic and an all-new twin-disc clutch 7-speed manual.
